pm SOUTH RIVER: Proposed 10 Megawatt Solar
Project
A presentation was given for consideration of 5 municipalities becoming joint equal partners. Joly is looking for a letter of intent to cover the costs of investigating and submitting the application for such a project. The costs would be divided equally amongst the 5 municipalities. Decision is to be made at the next meeting.

Reviewed and found to be beneficial.
4. Machar Emergency Plan meeting of Sep 20
Councillor Bennison will act in Mayor Maeck’s absence for these purposes if necessary. Annual Emergency Training session scheduled for Oct 27 in Magnetawan. More details to follow.

Application for Economic Development Officer discussed. Friends of Mikisew and Mikisew Provincial Park discussed. Representatives from both are to attend next CAEDA meeting.

Park Road discussed and some work being done now. Bear proof container information to be referred to Superintendent of Public Works.
10. Machar Landfill minutes of Sep 22, motion
Minutes are not yet available. Discussions ensued on Hazmat site investigation, sorting of beer bottles, Summer Student and best use of staff time to modernize operations.
